My Story

Well, as wild and crazy as it sounds, one positive of quarantine was taking the leap and trying something I always knew I should do. My name is Michael McDonald and I live in Wheeling, West Virginia. I have been teaching fifth-grade for the past 6 years now but have always loved exploring woodworking and its relatives. What began as making a few charcuterie boards for friends and family for the holidays has taken off and become much more than a hobby. All of the pieces I craft are done so locally in Wheeling with the majority of the wood being purchased locally from within 1-2 hours of my shop.
